The GRIDS III contract is designated as the primary AGC vehicle to obtain services supporting the research and development efforts of the AGC. The Army Geospatial Center awarded a GRIDS III SBSA contract to GISinc on 17 December 2019 with a period of performance until 2024.

The GRIDS III contract is designed to provide services through a MATOC necessary to acquire special skills, systems engineering, and technical services to perform research and development activities that relate to rapid development, limited fielding, and geospatial technology services for the warfighter.

This contract streamlines services and gains efficiencies by consolidating TSS support requirements across the various Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming (LVC&G) domains at home stations and Combat Training Centers (CTCs) by allowing the Army to leverage contracted support capabilities at Army installations. The TSS Contract, awarded in July 2011, is a five-year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract with a ceiling of $500 million.
