If you are considering the upgrade, don’t forget that ArcGIS 10.8 is on a short-term support release cycle, which means 3 year of support with 1.5 years of patches. If you need longer then 3 years on support and patches, it may be worth waiting until 10.8.1 is released later in 2020.
